To provide a sliding plate for a current collector which hardly causes warpage in the production process and consists of a matrix single body (aluminum alloy) and an aluminum composite member which is hardly worn in a short time.
The sliding plate for a current collector consists of a partial composite material having a matrix single part and a composite material member in which a ceramic dispersion material such as ceramic short fibers and ceramic particles are dispersed. A part of the sliding plate corresponding to a part of the thickness consists of the composite material, and the rest part consists of the matrix single part 40 and a column part 30 of the composite material formed along the longitudinal direction of the sliding plate. Since the sliding part 20 is fixed by the column part 30, no warpage is produced in the production process and good productivity can be obtd. Since the aluminum composite column 30 is formed in the matrix single part 40, the sliding plate is slowly worn even when the sliding part 20 is worn out. Therefore, the period to exchange the sliding plates can be extended, which means economical.
