Abstract:
To provide a sliding resistance measurement device capable of measuring a static friction coefficient while sliding.SOLUTION: The sliding resistance measurement device is used by being attached to a vehicle. The device is equipped with a wheel shaft support part C supported on a wheel shaft S, a first arm part 10 and a second arm part 20, a first roller 12 and a second roller 22, a rotation transmission mechanism 70, a tension measurement means 40 for measuring rotation torque transmitted by the rotation transmission mechanism 70, a pressure measurement means 30 for measuring a biasing force of the first arm part, and a friction coefficient calculation means 90. The first and second arm parts 10 and 20 are supported so as to be swingable around a wheel shaft support part C, and are biased downward. The first and second rollers are rotatably supported by the first and second arm parts 10 and 20, respectively, and are placed on a road surface R. The rotation transmission mechanism intermittently rotates the first roller 12 with respect to the road surface R by transmitting one rotation to the other at a predetermined ratio between the first and second rollers 12 and 22. The friction coefficient calculation means calculates a friction coefficient between the first roller 12 and the road surface R based on the rotational torque which varies with the movement of the vehicle and the biasing force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
