Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent backlash of a casing for slidably guiding a driving force transmitting member in a sliding roof device.
SOLUTION: This sliding roof device is provided with a housing disposed at least along a front edge of an opening part formed on a roof of a vehicle, the casing disposed along the housing, the driving force transmitting member slidably installed in the housing and guided and driven by a driving mechanism, and a slide panel connected to the driving force transmitting member and moving in order to open and close the opening part by the sliding movement of the driving force transmitting member. The casings 27 and 28 are made of a plastic material, and plural engagement parts 16a to 16g displaced at least along one of vertical direction or forward and backward direction are provided in the housing 16. The casings 27 and 28 are engaged with and fixed on the engagement parts 16a to 16g to be disposed in zigzag state.
