To guarantee good sealing in a simple form even when exposed to wind load, in a sliding screen device having a window sliding screen or a door sliding screen supported by a blind frame (5) to be opened or closed, or in a sliding screen device with a folding equipment in particular, by improving the type having a lock device on an open-side and a sliding screen frame (1) provided with a sliding screen having at least one gate bar (4) and an operational member for operating the gate bar (4), which is engaged with the blind frame (5) or the sliding screen frame of the adjacent sliding screen for locking the sliding screen.
The gate bar (4) is inserted into a profile (11), which is open toward the open-side of the sliding screen frame (1), at its random position, and is operable by a push rod (9) mediated by a leading body (18) which is brought to a position corresponding to the gate bar.
