Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration in the insulating performance between fixed contacts resulting from arc discharge generated when a movable contact has contact with/separation from the fixed contacts.
SOLUTION: Arc generation parts 22 are formed at the ends 21 of fixed contacts 2 and supporting protrusions 3 are formed between the each other neighboring fixed contacts 2. The supporting protrusions 3 are provided in parallel to the arc generation parts 22 to support a movable contact 1. The supporting protrusions 3 are sufficiently apart from the arc generation parts 22 for arc discharge generated by the arc generation parts 22 not to reach the supporting protrusions 3. The fixed contacts 2 are separated from the bottom 6 of a switch body 5.
