The sliding switch comprises a sliding member 4, disposed on a housing 3 of equipment and a switch body 8 linked to the sliding member. The sliding member has one or more pairs of leg pieces 62, 62 on the rear face of a finger catch piece 61 facing to the outside of the housing 3, passing through a slit 51 in the housing and a hole 71 in a locking member 7 located on the rear face of the housing, with locking protrusions 63 at the ends. A sliding protruded portion 81 of the switch body 8 is made to bite into between the leg pieces 62, 62.
