Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive sliding throttle valve being reduced in weight, having high flexibility in designing an internal shape of the sliding throttle valve, and preventing the occurrence of icing.
An inner piston 1 shaped in a cylinder with a bottom is formed by synthetic resin material, an outer piston 3 shaped in a cylinder with a bottom is formed by metallic material. The inner piston 1 is inserted and fitted in the outer piston 3 to be integrated, thereby forming the sliding throttle valve P. The outer piston made from the metallic material is slidably disposed in a sliding throttle valve guiding cylinder 7 of a carburetor main body 8 to open/ close an intake air passage 9.
