PURPOSE: To improve the atomizing performance of fuel so largely by forming a sliding throttle valve with a plastic material containing conductive materials, while making an electric current flow in this valve, in a carburetor for an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: A throttle valve guide cylinder 24 is combinedly installed in an intake passage 2 piercing through a carburetor body 1. A sliding throttle valve 8 is set up in this guide cylinder 24 free of movement. The valve 8 is made up of a plastic material containing conductive materials. An on-off switch 17, controlling an electric current flowing into the sliding throttle valve 8 for its circuit making, is set up in an electric circuit for making the current flow into this throttle valve 8. Thus, the atomizing performance of fuel is largely improvable.
