To provide a stable slightly acidic aqueous hypochlorite solution and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: By shortening the ion exchange time between a sodium hypochlorite solution and an ion exchange resin and repeating this step by step or cyclically, the pH can be adjusted stably. As a result, it is possible to produce a stable slightly acidic aqueous hypochlorite solution with controlled concentration and pH by minimizing chlorine gas release during production.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
