Abstract:
To solve the problems wherein the use of a slightly water-soluble component of the leaf of Lagerstroemia speciosa L. is hardly elucidated although conventionally the effects of a water-soluble component of the leaf of the Lagerstroemia speciosa L. has been shown and the probability of utilization thereof has been suggested.
A composition having an antioxidant activity contains the slightly water-soluble component of the leaf of the Lagerstroemia speciosa L. Besides, the composition has activities for preventing diabetes and activities for reducing body fat.
