PURPOSE: To provide a slinger device which has simple, low-cost, and compact structure by a method wherein a means to balance a pressure in a bearing chamber with that in an actuating chamber is formed with A groove extending in a reverse rotation direction from an opening part connected to the bearing chamber and a passage through which the groove is communicated with the actuating chamber.
CONSTITUTION: An opening part 21a of a groove 21 formed in a housing cover 15 on the suction side by casting or a machining work is situated on the right side of a slinger 17, and the groove 21 is extended in a reverse rotation direction from the opening part 21a. Thus, since the slinger 17 is rotated, as shown by an arrow mark 17a, clockwisely, an amount of oil splashing on the right side of the center of the slinger 15 is low, and no splashes of oil flying upward is produced. Splashes of up flying oil generated on the left side from the center of the slinger 17 are generated such that the splashes to a pressure uniformizing hole 20 is shielded by an inner wall 15a approximately horizontally formed on the housing cover 15. This constitution prevents oil from further entering the pressure uniforming hole 20 through the groove 21.
