PURPOSE: To prevent reduction in the liquid pressure rigidity by cutting off the connection of a master cylinder and a changeover control means for controlling the wheel cylinder liquid pressure at the time when the acceleration slip is detected, and by connecting the reservoir of the master cylinder to the inlet side of a pump at a prescribed time.
CONSTITUTION: When an acceleration slip is detected by a detecting means E for carrying out an acceleration slip control, an accumulator F is connected to the inlet side of a changeover control means H by the changeover operation of a hydraulic pressure source changeover means L, and at the same time, it is also connected to the delivery side of a pump K. And the inlet side of the pump K is connected to the reservoir B of a master cylinder A by a connection control means M at a prescribed time. Accordingly, the slip control at the time of acceleration is carried out by supplying the pressure from the accumulator F and the pump K to a wheel cylinder D. On the other hand, at the time of ordinary braking, the accumulator F is separated by the changeover means L so as to be independent. Thus, at the time of ordinary braking, the liquid pressure from the master cylinder is immediately applied to the wheel cylinder, enabling braking to be carried out without inducing reduction in the liquid pressure rigidity.
