To automatically prepare a printing instructed original to which an instructed content is added from printing original data by preparing instructed content data corresponding to instructed item data from the printing original edition data and preparing the print instruction original data obtained by adding the instructed content to the printing original data.

A slip design system consists of a slip design device 1, a LAN 2 for transferring data between the slip design device 1 and other units and a data conversion device 3 converting the data system of the slip design device 1 into the data system of an output unit. The slip design device 1 is provided with an instructed item input means and a print instruction original preparing means. Then, instructed item data are prepared by selectively inputting an item instructed in a print instruction original by the instructed item input means and the print instruction original preparing means prepares instructed content data corresponding to the instructed item data from printing original data. Then, print instruction original data obtained by adding the instructed content data to the printing original data are prepared.
