When determining as a travel range in S1, and when determining that a slip fastening area of the starting element and throttle opening TVO change in S2, whether a throttle opening change determined in the S2 is caused by stepping of an accelerator pedal or return operation, is checked by the positive-negative of a throttle opening changing speed α arithmetically operated from a deviation between a throttle opening this time value TVO2 and a last time value TVO1 before predetermined time Δt in S3. A change rate limiting ratio β of a starting element fastening pressure command value tPc is retrieved from the α on the basis of an expected map in S4 when the change is caused by the stepping and in S5 when the change is caused by the return operation. The tPc such as a time change rate of the tPc caused by the throttle opening change becomes a value of limiting a shift speed of the tPc corresponding to the α by the limiting ratio β, is arithmetically operated and outputted in S6.
