Title:
SLIP-OFF DETECTING DEVICE FOR WORK HELD IN NONCONTACT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06297373
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit the operation of a robot hand to be suspended by a slip-off detection signal by detecting the slip-off of a work held in noncontact on a noncontact sucking head free from delay, as for a handling mechanism for an angular shaped work such as MCC.

CONSTITUTION: An air pressure lowering detector 7 which detects the lowering of the jetted air pressure which is generated by the slip-off of a work 1 held on a head 3 and outputs a slip-off detection signal S for suspending the operation of a robot hand 9a is installed between an air feeding part 5 and the injection hole 32 of the head 3. Accordingly, the slip-off of the work is detected free from delay, and the confusion in handling is prevented, and the speedy inspection and restoration of each part are enabled, and the throughput of inspection is improved.
