Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire chain for being used on an icy road or the like, having excellent braking performance and economical efficiency, and facilitating attachment/detachment performance.
SOLUTION: A slip preventing device for a tire has a plurality of arm frames having a pair of traverse arm parts contacting from a ground contacting surface 6 of the tire 1 to an inside surface and an outside surface while bending, inside side parts intercoupling parts bent to the inside surface of the tire of the traverse arm parts with each other along a curved surface of a side wall of the inside of the tire, and a pair of outside side parts extending outward in a circumferential direction of the tire from parts bent to the outside surface of the tire of the traverse arm parts along the curved surface of the side wall of the outside of the tire on an outside surface part of the tire. Coupling parts 4 for attachably/detachably intercoupling adjacent arm frames when being mounted on the tire are provided on tip ends of the respective outside side parts, and the arm frames are intercoupled only by the coupling parts 4.
