To obtain a slip-preventing material excellent with respect to processability and operability, especially durability and to extremely readily produce a waist cloth provided with the slip-preventing material.

This slip-preventing material has at least a projected part 1a and a margin 1b for a seam at the side of the projected part and is integrally formed from a silicone resin. The part of the margin 1b for a seam of the slip-preventing material 1 is piled on a belt body 2 to be fitted to the back of a waist cloth side of trousers or a skirt and the slip-preventing material is sewed to the belt body at the part. The slip-preventing material 1 can be extremely simply fitted to the belt body 2 only by traveling a machine sewing thread on the piled part and is excellent in terms of processability and operability. Since the slip-preventing material 1 is fitted to the belt body 2 by sewing, the material 1 is hardly removed in comparison with a conventional case. Consequently, the slip-preventing material can retain slip-preventing function forever as a waist cloth. Since the slip-preventing material 1 is stretchable, it can sufficiently deal with an elongation required in use and adequately satisfy a wearing comfort.
