Rotation outputted from an engine 1 to an output shaft 3b through a torque converter 2 and a transmitter 3 is transmitted to right and left drive wheels 5 and 5 through the differentiating device 4. Two vehicle speed sensors 17 and 17 are provided to individually detect the rotation speeds of the right and left drive wheels 5 and 5. A control device 41 individually determines the slips (a decision value (acceleration or deceleration)) of the right and left drive wheels 5 and 5 by using the detecting values of the vehicle speed sensors 17 and 17. When the large one of the two slips exceeds a threshold, slip prevention control (TRC control, ABS control, etc.), through which the engaging pressure of one to be connected of clutches 8 and 9 in a transmission 3 is weakened, is executed.
