PURPOSE: To print out slip data on the same form in an easy to see form by assigning corresponding slip data to each item column of a revised slip form and printing out the data.

CONSTITUTION: A CPu 1 refers to a content of a totalizing definition memory 4 to read a record having a totalizing object item from a predetermined file and totalizes records according to the defined content. When a slip print command is given from an input section 2, after the CPU 1 expands the totalizing record in a work memory 8 into a page memory 9 together with a slip form according to a print form set in a print form memory 6, the CPU 1 allows a print section 10 to print out the result. In this case, the CPU 1 discriminates whether the slip is printed by a usual slip form defined in the slip form definition memory 5 or by a modified slip form from the usual slip form defined in the slip definition memory 5 and makes print processing according to the discrimination result.
