Abstract:

To suppress slip of a wheel when starting or traveling a vehicle by operating a frictional resistance raising means to an appropriate degree as required.

This device is provided with the frictional resistance raising means 1 for rasing frictional resistance with a road surface, a controller 5 for operating the frictional resistance raising means 1 based on a slip generation state of a driving wheel 2a and an independent operation inhibition switch for inhibiting the operation of the frictional resistance raising means 1 by a judgement of a driver. As a result, an unnecessary operation of the frictional resistance raising means 1 can be prevented when the driver judges that a collision can be sufficiently avoided or when the vehicle A is changed in direction by intentionally slipping the wheel.
