Abstract:
An object of the invention is to provide a nozzle in which the width of a slit is hardly widened due to the pressure of a fluid applied to a pipe material during use. To achieve the object, provided is a method of manufacturing a slit nozzle, which includes: a step of preparing a cutting knife; a step of preparing a tubular pipe member; a step of forming a first slit by positioning a cutting blade of the cutting knife along an axial direction of the pipe member, cutting the pipe material with the cutting blade of the cutting knife from a radial outside of the pipe member, and then pulling out the cutting blade from the pipe material; a step of relatively moving the cutting knife and the pipe material along the axial direction; and a step of forming a second slit in a discontinuous manner with respect to the first slit on an extension of the length direction of the first slit by positioning the cutting knife along the axial direction of the pipe material, cutting the pipe material with the cutting blade of the cutting knife from the radial outside of the pipe material, and then pulling out the cutting blade from the pipe material.
