Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly reduce the length of a defective sheet caused when changing this order, on an order change of the gathering number of existing in a tendency of becoming long in the length of the defective sheet in a conventional technology.SOLUTION: A slitter device 202 reduces the length of a defective sheet, by shortening a distance (time) for moving a slitter 1 in the width direction in this switching time, by moving partial slitters 1b, 1d and 1f and 2 slitters 1c and 1e applied to 3-gathering among 5 slitters 1 applied to 4-gathering, in the vertical direction so as to be replaced between a processing position and an unprocessed position, when switching between 4-gathering and 3-gathering by an order change, by additionally using the 2-slitters 1 (the slitters 1c and 1e) as being applicable to the 3-gathering, in addition to 5 slitters 1 (slitters 1a, 1b, 1d, 1f and 1g) minimum necessary for executing the 4-gathering as a maximum number of gathering.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
