PURPOSE: To perform the set change of the cutting size and clearance adjustment in a short time by swingably moving the upper and lower slitter knives up and down during the operation change.
CONSTITUTION: The upper and lower slitter knives 6 are moved up and down by rotating handles 12 of jacks, moving rods 15 back and forth, and slightly moving gear cases 7 using drive shafts 8 as a fulcrum via arms 14. In case of the shift of the knives 6 in the cutting width direction, the gear cases 7 and the knives 6 are moved via frames 16 by rotating screw shafts 10. The knives 6 are rotated by the drive shaft 8 via the gears in the cases. The vertical or horizontal shift of the knives can be performed only by the rotation of the screw shafts, thereby the cutting size can be changed in a short time.
