To accurately facilitate regulation of a cutting position without surface deflection of a rotary blade by fixing upper and lower rotary blades to bosses integral with upper and lower shafts, and supporting the shafts through drive gears so as to be axially movable.
The slitter for a wall mounting material comprises rotary cutters having an oven cutter 4 and an under cutter 9 supported to upper and lower shafts 2, 5 in a slitter body 1, a spring stopper 6 and a guide rail 11 or the like. Bosses 3, 8 are respectively integrally formed with the shafts 2, 5, and the cutters 4, 9 are respectively fixed to the bosses 3, 8. In this case, the shafts 2, 5 are axially movably penetrated through a pair of drive gears 16, 17, and ends of the shafts projected out from a gear box 10 are coupled by a moving jig 20. Cutting positions of the cutters 4, 9 are regulated by grasping and axially moving forward or backward a locking portion 22 of the jig 20.
