PURPOSE: To improve efficiency and make a cut section sharp by accomplishing cutting by means of moving a cutter holder, which holds a plural number of straight edge cuffers in alignment, from the other side to this side in relation to workpieces on a holding plate taken out sheet by sheet from a stocker, and fransporting the cut workpiece as it is by suction.

CONSTITUTION: An assembled body 2 provided with a plural number of straight blade cutters 2a fitted thereto is inserted into spot faced grooves 3a on cutter spacers 3 which are held by a cutter holder 9 in alignment. Workpieces 5 stacked up on a stocker are placed on a workpiece plate 18 one by one by a vacuum suction type feeding device. Cutting is accomplished by moving the cutter holder 9 from the other side to this side in relation to the workpiece 5. Workpieces 5a finished in cutting process are sucked so as not to become loose and sent to a disposing position by a vacuum suction type discharging device.
