To provide a slitting blade for shaping a pressing groove, preventing a crack or an unqualified shape in the pressing groove mounted on a ceramic green sheet laminate.

The slitting blade 10 shapes the pressing groove 13 or a dividing groove 19, has a cutting blade 11 mounted along one end part in the lengthwise direction, and is used for making the pressing groove 13 by pressing the end to the surface of the ceramic green sheet laminate 12 comprising a plurality of assembled individual pieces to form the pressing groove 13 and then sintering the same. The end 15 of the cutting blade 15 is mounted in the central line in the thickness direction in the cross-sectional view; the blade surfaces 17 and 17a extending from the end surface 15 to each respective main surfaces 16 and 16a of the rectangular plate-like body have an angle difference larger than 10 degrees to the central line; and the whole angle of the tip end of the cutting blade is larger than 10 degrees to not more than 60 degrees. The slitting blade is used for making the pressing groove 13 in a desired position.
