Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a small slot antenna system whose degree of freedom of arrangement is high on a wireless card or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A conductor plate 101 having a slot 102 is arranged to one side of a printed circuit board of a wireless card (contactless IC card) 100 and a microstrip line 104 is arranged onto other side orthogonally to the slot 102. A reception circuit is connected to one end 105 of the microstrip line 104. Other end 103 of the microstrip line 104 is formed to be L-shape and arranged at a required interval (d) with the slot 102. The other end 103 acts like a matching stub. Since the antenna is configured in a L shape, the degree of freedom of the arrangement is higher than that of straight line configuration and then the size of the antenna system is made small.
