Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a slot antenna with double-frequency cavity on which frequency adjustment can be performed easily and a method for tuning the antenna. CONSTITUTION: An antenna 1 is provided with a plurality of layers 3, 17, 27, and 33 piled up one upon another and containing a layer with a substrate 5 having an accessible surface. On the surface of the substrate 5, a continuous slot; a first conductive metallization 9 which is arranged in the slot and extended along the slot; a second conductive metallization 11 which is arranged on the outside of the slot; and at least a pair of frequency adjusting devices one of which is related to the first metallization 9 and the other of which is related to the second metallization 11 are contained. The frequency adjusting devices have one foil and tab, a pair of foil, or a pair of recesses for each metallization.
