Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve operability of a release lever, in the slow descending device for stopping a rotation of a hoisting drum or releasing its stop by a detaining mechanism formed by providing a ratchet fixed to a driving shaft of the hoisting drum subjected to rotation damping, and the release lever having a claw which can be engaged to this ratchet in its tip part.
CONSTITUTION: A claw of a release lever 34 is constituted of a chip 34a made of a resin having slipperiness, and also, this chip 34a made of a resin is fitted integrally and installed in the tip part of a release lever main body 40 supported pivotally so as to be freely turnable. In such a way, friction of the ratchet 32 and the release lever 34 can be reduced, and operability of the release lever 34 at the time of expanding a contained ladder to a use state can be improved.
