Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable starting of a device in a smooth manner, to reduce the number of yarn breaking times at a starting time, and to improve an operation efficiency of the device, by a method wherein an electromagnetic clutch is installed between a spindle shaft and a drive source, and a spindle driving is automated.

CONSTITUTION: In a spindle type winder, an electromagnetic clutch 16 is mounted between a shaft 15, whereon a friction disc 14 is positioned, and a shaft 15' to which a spindle shaft 19 is coupled through a transmission gear 17. The operating time of the clutch 16 is determined by a reference voltage under which a constant current circuit 27 is raised rectilinearly, and a saw teeth-shaped, wavy voltage of a CR oscillating circuit 29. Besides, it works only when the voltage of the circuit 29 is lower than the reference voltage of the circuit 27. Thereby, the operating time of the clutch 16 is intermittent, and its working hour increases gradually. This reduces the number of thread breaking times at starting and permits the improvement of an operation efficiency of the device.
