Abstract:
To provide a sludge removal device with a scum removal device which can suck down a large amount of scum constantly, smoothly, and reliably.SOLUTION: In a sludge removal device with a scum removal device, multiple flight scrapers 11, which may be driven to move forward in a pit direction by a rectangular revolving chain 8 in a sedimentation pond 1 so as to scrape sludge, are provided at intervals and specific flight scrapers respectively include drive rollers 21 so that the drive rollers are located at the inner periphery side of the revolving chain. Further, the sludge removal device with the scum removal device at least has: a scam removal device having damming means 29 which may move upward and downward with respect to a water surface in conjunction with the drive roller; following members 17 which are pushed up by the advancing drive rollers; and a linkage member 19 which is connected between the following members and the damming means in a vertically elongated form and causes the damming means to move downward in response to movement of the following members. Forward falling prevention rollers, which may roll on a pond bottom surface 12 including a guide rail upper surface, are provided at the front side, a scraping direction side, of each flight scraper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
