Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sludge concn. tank capable of keeping a sludge water tank aerobic up to the bottom part thereof by aeration, not discharging phosphorus together with filtered waste water, capable of preventing the generation of a malodor, reducing the volume of sludge by aerobic digestion and capable of efficiently concentrating sludge.
CONSTITUTION: A filter member 2 demarcating and forming a sludge concn. part 5 receiving sludge is arranged in a sludge water tank 1 and a treated filtered water part 3 is provided between the inner wall of the sludge water tank 1 and the filter member 2 and an aeration pipe 6 is arranged in the filter member 2. A drain pipe 7 communicates with the bottom part of the sludge water tank 1 and the height of the upper end discharge part of the drain pipe 7 is made adjustable over the range from the almost max. water level position of the sludge water tank 1 to the position in the vicinity of the bottom part thereof. Therefore, sludge can be conc. and accumulated while filtered by the filter member 2 and the treated filtered water in the sludge water tank 1 can be almost drained and the drainage of sludge can be improved.
