To provide a method by which releasing property of filter cake is improved in dehydrating treatment of sludge by an effectively utilizing method for vegetable waste and a filter-press type dehydrator, formation of a thin film reducing heat conductivity inside the filter cake is suppressed and thereby efficiency of dehydrating drying treatment of the sludge by the filter-press type dehydrator is greatly improved.
In the method for dehydrating treatment of the sludge by the filter-press type dehydrator having a filter press, an evacuating device for making the inside of the filter press in an evacuated state and a means for heating the sludge in the filter press, the sludge is modified by addition and mixing of an expansion-pulverized matter obtained by expansion pulverization treatment of vegetables, and then dehydrating treatment of the sludge by the filter-press type dehydrator is carried out.
