Abstract:
To provide a sludge dewatering method and a sludge dewatering device, which are inexpensive for installation cost and running cost for dewatering.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of dewatering sludge and a sludge dewatering device characterized by heating a digested sludge to over 60°C for 0.5 hours or more and then adding a polymer coagulant for coagulation, and dewatering the coagulated sludge. It is preferable that the polymer coagulant has a hydrophobic group, and the polymer coagulant having the hydrophobic group is a DAM-based polymer coagulant, and a heating temperature is 60 to 80°C, and a heating time is 0.5 to 5 hours. After the digested sludge is heated, it may be coagulated without returning to normal temperature, or may be coagulated after returning to normal temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
