Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly advance a pyrolysis, by locating a temperature detector at a heating scope where sludge is decomposed by heating for gasification so that a heat energy volume given to a furnace will be controlled according to the change in temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Sludge is charged through a charging port 4 to a heating space 2 in a furnace 1 constructed by refractory material, and is decomposed by heating. Gas produced at that time is exhausted through an exhaust port 5. The furnace 1 is heated by, say, arc electrodes 3, and a temperature detecting terminal 11 is situated at the heating space. And thus, a power supply volume to the electrodes 3 can be adjusted according to values determined.
