Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease of the dehumidifying capacity of a drier for drying an object to be dried employing a dehumidifying drier comprising an expansion part and a compression part, which may be caused by frozen moisture occurring in the expansion part thereof when a temperature of outdoor air is low.SOLUTION: There is provided a sludge drier comprising: a drying container comprising a bottom face constituted of an air-permeable filter that can hold sludge and an upper face provided with a suction opening, an outdoor air introduction opening, and an exhaust opening; a dehumidifying drier that sucks air present in the drying container through the suction opening and sends out dry air prepared by dehumidifying the aforementioned air; a blast chamber disposed below the drying container to send the dry air to the drying container; and an exhaust fan connected to the exhaust opening to discharge the air in the drying container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
