Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge recycling method by which iron-containing sludge slurry obtained from waste water of a thermal power plant can be effectively used as a resource by treating the sludge slurry so as to have a predetermined water content, and consequently disposal cost of industrial waste can be reduced.SOLUTION: The sludge recycling method comprises: forming iron-containing sludge slurry by settling iron-containing waste water from a thermal power plant in a settling tank 11; forming a dehydrated sludge cake by dehydrating the sludge slurry using a dehydrator 17; forming a kneaded body by mixing the dehydrated sludge cake, the sludge slurry and water at a predetermined ratio and kneading the mixture using a kneader 21; detecting the water content of the kneaded body using a moisture meter 23; determining that the kneaded body is in a good condition when its water content is in a predetermined range; and extracting the kneaded body from the kneader 21 as a product when determining that the kneaded body is in a good condition.
