Abstract:
To provide a method for treating sludge without particularly requiring excessive fuel even when in winter, the filterability of the sludge deteriorates and capable of preventing a rise in treatment cost, and an apparatus for treating the sludge.
The apparatus for treating the sludge comprises a freezing and thawing tank 3 supplied with a cold medium from an ammonia absorption refrigerator, a heating device 7 capable of utilizing exhaust heat of the ammonia absorption refrigerator and also supplying the sludge, and a dewatering device 6 for dewatering the sludge heated by this heating device 7.
