To provide gate pump equipment having sluice gate on a gate.
The gate pump equipment is so constituted that the sluice gate is provided to the gate 4 set in a drain gate 1, capable of being opened and shut by an opening and shutting device 3 and having a pump 9. Separating from the opening and shutting of the gate 4, the sluice gate 14 is capable of being opened and shut. The pump 9 provided to the gate 4 is capable of being naturally or forcedly drained, and a check valve 12 is provided to a discharge port side. The sluice gate 14 is provided to the gate 4 on the side of an inlet port of the pump 9 in a movable manner in the vertical direction and in an openable manner. In the case a trouble occurs in the pump 9 side or in the case the check valve 12 does not function, the sluice gate 14 is shut to prevent a backflow. An edge member 31 can be provided to the lower end of the sluice gate 14, the sluice gate 14 can be automatically opened, and the sluice gate 14 can be opened and shut by the same opening and shutting device 3 as that of the gate 4.
