To provide an apparatus without requiring an installation space and capable of efficiently washing and dewatering slurry.
The apparatus includes a filtration chamber 20 at least a part of which is partitioned by a filter cloth 22, a filter press 12 having a pressure chamber 24 for pressing the filtration chamber from outside to compress the filtration chamber 20, slurry pressure supply means 14 for supplying slurry S at a predetermined pressure to filter the slurry, washing water pressure supply means 54 for supplying washing water W at higher pressure than the predetermined pressure to wash a filter residue in the filtration chamber, and a pressurized water supply means 44 for supplying pressurized water W to the pressure chamber for compressing the filtration chamber 20 to pressurize the filter residue in the filtration chamber.
