Abstract:

To provide a dehydration drying method and a dehydration drying apparatus for slurry capable of performing dehydration and drying of slurry effectively in a short period of time.

In the dehydration drying method, when slurry is dehydrated and dried, the slurry is heated to a temperature higher than the saturated vapor temperature T2 corresponding to a prescribed pressure P2 under the condition of a pressure P1, thereafter, the slurry is guided under the condition from the pressure P1 to the pressure P2, moisture of the slurry is subjected to self-evaporation by using a thermal energy generated by a temperature difference between the temperature T1 and the saturated vapor temperature T2 and the vaporization speed is accelerated.
