A slurry dispersing apparatus comprises a slurry tank 12 housing a slurry 16 prepared by adding a powdery dispersoid to a dispersion medium and the wall member which is immersed in the slurry 16 in the slurry tank 2 and of which at least the outer peripheral wall prevents the permeation of granular media 12 housed in the tank but permits the permeation only of the slurry 16. Further, a barrel 3 having the opening part 5 introducing the slurry 16 formed to the upper part thereof and the stirrer 11 rotated in the barrel 3 to stir the slurry 16 in the barrel along with the media 12 are arranged. The liquid surface of the slurry 16 in the slurry tank 2 is covered with an up and down freely movable slurry presser 17 to be pressed from above.
