Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide slurry transfer means capable of suppressing scale deposition more effectively than conventional means in a narrow pipe through which slurry is transferred from a large-sized storage tank.SOLUTION: In a slurry transfer method, slurry stored in a storage tank of an inner diameter of 1,000 mm or more is transferred through a discharge pipe of an inner diameter of 200 mm or less connected to the side wall of the storage tank. A scale inhibitor is directly supplied into the discharge pipe from a scale inhibitor supply port installed at a position 0 mm-100 mm distant from a connection end of the discharge pipe with the storage tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
