Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small animal-guiding machine smoothly movable by reducing traveling noise and reducing rattling at movement, and enabling a moved position to be detected in high accuracy by a simple structure.
SOLUTION: When a deceleration motor 4 is driven, an active gear 5 is rotated by the rotation of the motor 4 transmitted thereto, and a following gear 6 meshed with the active gear 5 is also rotated. Sprocket wheels 7 and 8 are rotated by the rotation of the active gear 5 and the following gear 6 to move the meshed positions of the sprocket wheels 7 and 8 with chains 17 and 18. A main body 1 of the small animal-guiding machine is moved by the movement of the meshed positions because both ends of the chains 17 and 18 are fixed, and traveling rollers 13 and 14 move in rails 19 while rotating. The position of the main body 1 of the small animal-guiding machine can be detected by reading bar codes attached to tags installed in the chain 18 at a prescribed interval or at arbitrary positions by a bar code reader 21.
