PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small electric vehicle that is safe and not inconvenienced by unexpected starting caused by touching of a part of a body or clothing to an accelerator lever.SOLUTION: This small electric vehicle is configured such that an accelerator lever shaft 9 arranged in parallel with a handle grip 6 is provided in front of the handle grip 6, an L-shaped accelerator lever 8 having an accelerator grip 10 extended from the end of the accelerator lever shaft 9 toward a downward rear side and further extended outside in parallel with the handle grip 6 is provided, the downward position of the accelerator grip 10 before the handle grip 6 in a side view is set as a traveling stop position A, and the vehicle is started by carrying out a rotating operation F to pull up the accelerator grip 10 toward the handle grip 6 side from the stop position A against the urging force of urging means S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
