To provide a small fuse wherein a case for housing fuse-elements is composed of two assembling members with the same external shape.
The fuse is composed of the plastic assembling members 11, 12 with the same external shape, each having a base part 21 along an end face of which a pair of grooves with nearly semicircular cross-section are provided parallel to each other, a side plate part 24 so formed integrally with the base part that a rectangular space 23 is formed together by the base part 21, and a wall part 25 that is provided on an end face of the side plate part where the space opens and protrudes from the end face, and a groove 26 that is provided thereon and recesses inward from the end face, wherein, on making the end faces of the base parts 21 face each other, the wall part 25 of one of the assembling members 11, 12 conforms to and engages with the groove 26 of the other thereof, whereby the box-shaped case is assembled.
