Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small planing boat capable of easily keeping a throttle valve at the intermediate opening without deteriorating an operator's sense of driving, and prohibiting the throttle valve from opening to the maximum opening. SOLUTION: The small jet propulsion boat has the throttle valve 26 mounted in the inlet system of an engine and a throttle lever 20 for opening/closing the throttle valve 26. The small jet propulsion boat has a throttle control device 23 for changing the operation mode between a regular operation mode 25a and a restrained operation mode 25b. In the regular operation mode 25a, the operation range from the minimum operation position 20a to the maximum operation position 20b of the throttle lever 20 corresponds to the opening range from the minimum opening to the maximum opening of the throttle valve 26. In the restrained operation mode 25b, the operation range from the minimum operation position 20a to the maximum operation position 20b of the throttle lever 20 corresponds to the opening range from the minimum opening to a prescribed intermediate opening.
