PURPOSE: To reduce noises and vibrations and improve the pump performance by driving multiple diaphragm sections forming multiple pump chambers with a drive body performing conical movement, and connecting the drive body and the diaphragm sections via connecting shafts extended in the tangent direction.
CONSTITUTION: A drive shaft 4 inclined by the preset angle is provided on a crank base 3 fitted to the output shaft 2 of a motor 1, and a drive body 9 is fitted to the drive shaft 4. Multiple diaphragm sections 8 driven by the drive body 9 are arranged at a nearly uniform interval in the peripheral direction with respect to the axis of the output shaft 2. The diaphragm sections 8 and the drive body 9 are connected by inserting bar-shaped connecting shafts 10 provided on the outer periphery section of the drive body 9 in the tangent direction with respect to the outer periphery into through holes provided at the lower end section of the diaphragm sections 8. Air is sucked into pump chambers 12 formed between the diaphragm sections 8 and a pump case 11 through an intake port 13 by the drive of the diaphragm sections 8 and discharged through an exhaust port 13 after compression.
