Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and high-sensitivity accelerometer capable of being manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: A small-sized accelerometer is provided with a supporting body, a weight 1, beams 4 that are positioned between the supporting body and the weight 1 and capable of being bent by the influence of the force due to the acceleration to be measured, a detecting means capable of determining the acceleration on the basis of the force induced inside the weight 1, and a spring 2 for compensating the force brought to the weight 1 by means of gravitation; and the supporting body, the weight 1, the beams 4, and the spring 2 are members manufactured inside the same base plate 10, and the accelerometer is also provided with a spring head 5 for arranging the spring 2 by means of a mechanical tension and with a fitting means for the head 5, thereby compensating the force brought to the weight 1 by means of gravitation.
