PURPOSE: To eliminate the staining of the photosensitive material due to dew condensation and the adverse influence of gas produced from processing liquid upon the fogging of the photosensitive material by providing an air ventilation part which has a specific opening surface area ratio in the outer package plate of a developing machine main body.
CONSTITUTION: The outer package plate of the automatic developing machine main body is provided with the air ventilation part which has a 0.02 - 0.5 rate of the opening area of the air ventilation part to the entire area of the outer package plate including the bottom part of the automatic developing machine. This air ventilation part may be arranged at any part of the outer package part including the bottom part of the automatic developing machine, but it is arranged preferably nearby the part where a heat generation body is installed as to air discharge efficiency and more preferably under the flank of the automatic developing machine. Consequently, the adverse influence of harmful gas produced from the processing liquid upon fogging and stains of the photosensitive material due to dew condensation are eliminated.
